Good Afternoon Families!  Please check out some of our highlights from the week!

"We learned about Groundhog Day and we drew a groundhog and we wrote a little about it.  We wrote does it come out in the winter or does it come out in the spring."  Bentley T

"Today in TWAS we wrote about what we wore for Tropical day.  I wore a dress with tropical leaves on it." Ciara

"We had an assembly this morning about water an there was a bull trout, a blue heron, and a beetle!" Trent

"This week we played a real basketball game in Phys. Ed.  Our team was called the fires because we were red!  We had to pass three times before you shoot a basket." Kalen

"In journals we got our sight words and we had to make a story or a sentence with them.  My sentence was my dog is black!" Cooper

"In math we practiced counting on.  We played dice war to practice." Bolor

"In gym we have been practicing shooting and passing." Ellia

"In stop and jot we learned more about Arctic foxes.  I learned that they shed their white fur in winter and they grow brown fur in the summer.  They use their tail as a blanket when they sleep." Evan

"This week we started Choir with grade one to grade six! We sang a song called My Old Cat!" Lucas

"Today was Fun Lunch and Tropical Day.  I wore a shirt from Hawaii that has palm trees on it!" Reid

"This morning we had a presentation in the gym and I got to help by holding up a sign!  It said use slow release fertilizer!" Anna

"In stop and jot I was writing about how arctic foxes follow polar bears and snack on their leftovers." Reggie

It is going to be REALLY cold next week! Please send your child to school with the proper gear!
