We had a very exciting and busy week. Please read below for some of the highlights!
"This week we went snowshoeing. It was my first time snowshoeing. I like going to the field on the other side!" Abbey
"We have been practicing for the Christmas Concert. My favourite song is Ecce Gratum." Avery
"Today our elf was hiding and one of the houses he built with tape! Yesterday, he was in a pile of marshmallows and he left two behind today!" Hannah
"Our elf built a tree out of Lego. He forgot to add the star on the top!" Ciara
"This week we made houses for the future. We had to make it out of tape. We made a pink flying house! We worked together as a group." Neve
"This week for Beakerhead we made houses in the year 3018. In ours there are lots of houses connecting. What makes the houses attach is tubes. Our group made a container house with an airplane house on top!" Reid
"In journals we wrote about our elf. I drew a picture of him and wrote that he was really nice." Aiden VM
"This week we were doing math and we had to build a Christmas tree with a 8 square and circle decorations. 4+4=8!" Bolor
"We made houses in the future and ours was a giant ball with a floating boat. We drew plants on the water. For the ball we made supports so it could fly and then we made colours on it so it could get energy for the lights in the house."
"On Friday we are going to do the STEM Challenge and I am going to build the amusement park and I don't know what it will turn into." Jacob

Christmas Concert 9AM and 6:30PM (students are encouraged to wear festive clothing and hats)
Last Day of School and Report Cards home Friday December 21st
Winter Break December 21st-January 7th
Classes Resume Tuesday January 8th
